Oh my goodness!! If you ever come across this food truck please do order something off their menu. My boyfriend and I had two types of tacos and they were the best tacos I've ever had in my life. Yes, my life! The flavors in these tacos were so delicious, I invited more people to come as it was just too good. We ordered the Kimchi and Luau Pork. Kimchi - Korean BBQ steak paired with kimchi cilantro, scallions, sesame seeds and chili flakes. Luau Pork - Hawaiian pulled pork marinated in a sweet chili BBQ sauce. Paired with pineapples cilantro, Scalia and and chili flakes.
This Truck sets the bar for food trucks everywhere! I travel all over the country and I can tell you for a fact you won't find better quality food anywhere else!
Great food! Ate the Sunset Shrimp Rice Bowl and it was delicious! Looking forward to eating there again. Also great spring rolls.
The Kapow rolls are the best egg rolls on the planet. Seriously. I've had the tacos a few times which were also tasty but I'd go again and again for the rolls. I do wish I could buy just one because two seems excessive for a meal and I'd love one just to go with a salad or something on a day when I'm trying to eat right but really just want a tasty egg roll. Damn. Now I want a Kapow roll!!!
Crazy Good, Man.... Stopped by this food truck on my lunch break yesterday. Got the Kapow Roles and I swear, I've never realized a flavor combo like that could exist. He also has a homemade sweet chili sauce that is to die for. I might quit my day job and live out the back of his truck.
I am thinking it's safe to assume that this food truck also opened up a little place in Booths Corners Market. Extremely impressed by this food! We ordered the chicken fried rice, the Buddha bellies, the kapow roll & chicken satay. Everything was fantastic! Those Buddha bellies blew my mind. So much flavor, the sauces were great. This is our new Friday night dinner hit up.
I got to say when I 1st saw the truck it looked cool the big leaf on the side and the name Kapow it made me think of the old Batman shows. The guy in the window was really nice and they seem to work fast I had enough time to take a walk and enjoy my food. I had the Slaptastic Porkos and I was blow away by the flavor profile! They are their peach pulled pork tacos with a lil spicy peach BBQ sauce and a red cabbage slaw on top. Then after those I went back for more I had the kapow rolls next. Them with the sweet chile dipping sauce are amazing. They are egg rolls with crab, lobster, vegetables, and turkey all mixed in one roll! They were out of this world to be honest. It's like the guy in the window said "I'm making egg rolls good again" they weren't your run of the mill egg rolls you can get at your local Chinese spot. They were to die for! This truck is a must see if your in the wilmington area during lunch time hands down!
HELL YEAH!! This cuisine was served from a food truck??? Unbelievable! I tried the Kapow Rolls & Thai Guy Wings - both were terrific - I'm VERY impressed. I've been working from home for several years & I sometimes just need to get out & be near other humans. A few friends who work everyday in those tall buildings downtown (ha ha suckers!) recommended this place so I drove into the city just to try this truck. I couldn't be happier with my decision. I'll be back soon! Also, I lived in Buffalo for a few years so I have high expectations for the size of wings I get at restaurants. These wings were among the biggest I've had anywhere (outside of Buffalo).
